Impregnation Sealers
Thanks to hydrophobizing impregnation, the capillary water absorption of a façade through rain and splashwater is significantly reduced. The water repelling, hydrophobic treatment is therefore a sensible damage-preventing and/or supplementary measure.
Breathable Paint
Alternatively to impregnation, the water-repellence of the façade can also be achieved using a silicone resin paint. Our selection of breathable façade paints come in a range of colours and can be tinted in store.
Restoration Mortar
The Remmers Restoration Mortar system was specially developed for supplementing mineral building materials or replacing them.
Concrete Repair
Despite the high quality and special qualities of concrete, damage can occur that requires maintenance, repair and protection. A distinction must be made between environmental influences and production faults with respect to concrete damage. Environmental influences can include exhaust fumes, acid rain, frost and de-icing salts. Here, the chemical properties are changed so that the steel reinforcements in the concrete start to rust. Shrinkage cracks, pipes, gravel pockets and insufficient concrete cover are typical production faults that also promote corrosion of the reinforcements.
Remmers Restoration Mortar (RM) is a ready-to-use, pre-mixed, dry mortar made of mineral binders and aggregates. Its physical characteristics correspond to the requirement for the lowest possible inherent stress and physical-mechanical properties that are coordinated to the natural stone substrate (compressive and bonding strength water transport, etc.). Used for restoring, supplementing, and re-profiling mineral substrates such as natural stone, brick, concrete, and synthetic stone. It can also be used to reproduce ornamental building elements in a tamping procedure.
