RasoThermo Aerogel

Breathable Super Insulation

Description:

RasoThermo Aerogel is a high performance lime-based thermal plaster, made from lime, aerogel and natural volcanic pozzolans, with a total of 14 carefully chosen ingredients. It provides exceptional thermal insulation in a thin, breathable layer due to its combination of premium insulating materials.

Weight / Size:

20kg

Approx. Coverage:

6sq/m (10mm)

Product Info:

This natural, breathable, and durable insulation solution can be applied to all types of masonry, whether old or new. It consists of a two-part system: A thermal lime base coat of variable thickness (depending on the desired U-value) with a granulation size of 1-1.2 mm, and A lime thermal finish with heat-reflectant properties to improve thermal comfort, with a granulation size of 0.5-0.7 mm. Designed to improve energy efficiency in buildings, it enhances the insulation and thermal performance of plastered walls, pillars, door and window frames. It is suitable for both interior and exterior applications in residential and commercial buildings, including ceilings, balconies, overhangs, and concrete structures. A 5-10 mm thick application on the four sides of beams and pillars can effectively limit thermal bridging and eliminate condensation. The plaster does not absorb heat, resulting in a significantly lower U-value (thermal conductance) of the applied surfaces, providing notable energy savings. It also offers increased resistance to fungi and mold, helping to reduce condensation and mold growth, resulting in a substantial improvement to indoor air quality. The product complies with Green Building Standards.
