iQ Therm

iQ-Therm combines the benefits of highly heat-insulating, organic insulating material, with the absorbent properties of a mineral mortar. iQ-Therm is streamlined, moisture regulating and highly heat-insulating, which makes it our most powerful mould restoration system.

 

As the upgraded iQ-Therm came to market in late 2023, some of this systems products are no longer available.

iQ Therm 2.0

iQ-Therm 2.0 is the latest evolution of the innovative capillary-active interior insulation system first introduced in 2009. This advanced system combines high-performance insulating material with a mineral mortar in its cross-section, enabling exceptional capillary absorbency. Power Protect [eco]

Power Protect [eco] is an eco-conscious insulation material made from modified perlite, a naturally occurring volcanic glass. Secil Eco Cork Render

Secil BeCork (EcoCork) Lime Render is an innovative blend of cork and Natural Hydraulic Lime, delivering unparalleled sustainability in construction materials.

 

This plaster/render enhances the thermal and acoustic insulation properties of surfaces while adhering to high ecological standards. Its breathable, natural composition contributes to the thermal comfort and energy efficiency of buildings, all while maintaining a minimal environmental footprint.

SP Top SL [basic]

SP Top SL is ideal for single-layer coats 20 to 50 mm thick. The hardened render is water vapor permeable, with excellent capillary conductivity that accelerates the drying of damp surfaces. Its low thermal conductivity provides heat-insulating properties, raising internal wall surface temperatures and reducing relative humidity to prevent spore formation.

 

By efficiently absorbing and discharging water, SP Top SL denies moisture to microorganisms, even in challenging climatic conditions, ensuring a dry and healthy environment.

Aerogel Super Insulation

Aerogel-based insulation plasters such as TermoRasante AeroGel and Termointonaco offer exceptional thermal performance in minimal thicknesses. TermoRasante AeroGel, incorporating advanced silica aerogel technology, achieves an impressive λ_eq ≈ 0.010 W/m·K, significantly outperforming conventional insulating materials.

 

With just 5–10 mm of application, it can raise internal wall surface temperatures by 3–5 °C, effectively reducing condensation and mould risk. Termointonaco provides similar benefits with excellent breathability (λ ≈ 0.043 W/m·K), making both ideal for heritage or space-limited projects.

Underfloor Heating

Foamglass aggregates provide a highly effective insulating and lightweight structural layer for floors and foundations. Products such as Foamglass 10, Foamglass 40 and Foamglass 65 are manufactured from 100% recycled glass and expanded into a cellular, lightweight aggregate that combines thermal insulation with load-bearing stability. Installed as a compacted layer beneath floor slabs or limecrete floors, these aggregates create an insulating sub-base that reduces heat loss while also providing excellent drainage and frost resistance.
